I absolutely LOVE ViSalus…both their business (and the way
they treat us and their customers) and their products. Another thing I love…there
is SO MUCH you can do with a Shake that you can’t possible get sick of the
flavour.
Now…I am one who could probably drink the Creamsicle
Popsicle (orange juice mixed with the Vi Shake) every day and not be sick of
it. However, for 2013 I have decided to make new Shakes and provide feedback.
Keep in mind that I am an extremely picky eater.
Yesterday I had the Dr. Oz recommended Shake (with a ViSalus
twist) and a cucumber/lime Shake. I was surprised that I liked the Dr. Oz
shake. It was not my favourite by any stretch of the imagination, but it was a
lot better than I imagined. I’d have it again. The cucumber/lime was actually
quite good. I thought it’d be “OK”; it was better than “OK”. It was very
refreshing and light. It would make a great summer drink or one when you are in
the mood to drink something fresh and cool.
I've included pictures of the shakes…even though the
cucumber one doesn't look all that impressive.
Dr. Oz Shake
1/2 c orange juice
1/2 banana
2 scoops Vi Shake
1 c frozen raspberries
1 c strawberry yogurt
3 baby carrots
5 leaves of fresh spinach
1/2 tsp flax oil
2 Tbsp oatmeal
