This is my passion!

Last night was the Visalus Group Challenge Party in Oshawa. A friend of mine joined me and I hadn't seen her in years! It was so awesome to see her. She really enjoyed the Party and the Shakes and was glad she came. Me too! I love Challenge Parties! Everyone has a blast!

I think I mentioned here....I know I mentioned on Facebook....since I started this 90 Day Challenge with both the Vi-Shake and the Vi-Pak, the eczema on my fingers cleared up. Yesterday, my friend told me she noticed my skin looks so healthy and I am so much happier. I was beaming hen she told me that.

I've said it before and I'll say it again....it's all about nutrition. Have you looked at the nutrition ViSalus provides? Watch the first video on my website: www.bbvcid.com

The overall happy is a combination.of things:
1) I worked for one year in an environment that made me beyond miserable. Now I work in an incredible environment where I look forward to going to work each day.
2) I feel healthier and more energetic.
3) I've lost weight. Who doesn't get happy over losing weight when that is their goal and they are doing it in a healthy fashion?
4) ViSalus' income potential is more than I have ever dreamed about. I am no longer worried about "do I have enough for this vacation?" Or "can I pay this on time?"  It doesn't cross my mind.

ViSalus was an easy choice for me. I am promoting a product that is transforming lives financially and physically and watching people's lives change in a positive fashion right before my eyes. I really need to Promote this more! I wish to see all of my friends and family have an easier and happier life.

Last night I met an 18 year old who, in one month, is already earning 2000-3000 per month! His first car will be a FREE BMW!

I recently heard how the previous company I worked for "restructured" my entire team (except 2 so far) in the location I worked in. So sad. Very sad. I wish I could show them a crystal ball and have them see the money they could start to make in as little as one month.

Well, I've gone on long enough. This is my passion. This is my Vi-life. This is real life!

Been a while....

It's been a few days since I've posted. No real reason other than running around at night and then getting up extra early for work. This morning the train is not too full, so I've pulled out my iPad to update my blog.

I'm so excited for this weekend! I am going to be attending a ViSalus event. My favourite part is hearing people's stories and seeing people I haven't seen in a while and seeing their transformations. I also love Ottawa's architecture.

When I get back I am seriously thinking of trying to find a personal trainer - Caity style. I don't want to be in a gym. I want to work out hard outdoors. It was so amazing and I felt phenomenal. I also saw such huge improvements each week. This whole gym thing isn't working for me, sadly. I love my walks I've been doing with my friend, but it is not consistent due to conflicting schedules.

I'd love to say I have the motivation to do it on my own, but I don't. Did I ever mention how lazy I am? I'm sure you figured that one out already.

I am dying here.  Laughing, that is. As I've been typing away, a guy across from me has been snoring loudly. He just did a loud snort and jolted awake. He looked at the guy across from him who was also asleep and nudged him to say "hey buddy, I think you've been snoring". Too funny!

Today my mind is all over the place. So here's another random thought. Do you ever wish you could show someone their future? I know and come across so many people who could benefit from ViSalus both financially and physically. I never dreamt I'd ever feel so energetic and healthy. Nor did I ever imagine I'd financially have the opportunities I have today....so I totally get people's hesitation and skepticism. I just wish they could see what could be in store for them.

On that note....I so badly want to go to Texas again and my husband wants Cuba. Soooooo...I'm thinking maybe Jamaica. I don't feel like going to Cuba again this year. I've never been to Jamaica. What's your favourite place?

Reach for your goals...no one will for you!

What an awesome last few days!

Friday was a great day at work. I got a lot accomplished and was so focussed. I truly love my job and the people I work with. That makes a huge difference! I really should update my blog more regularly though as I forget what I did Friday night. HA! Old age setting in?

Saturday was a nice spa day. It was pouring rain all night and into the morning and didn’t look like it would be breaking up anytime soon. I thoroughly enjoyed that spa – who doesn’t? When I was about to leave I texted my husband and asked him if he’d be up for a spontaneous trip to the States for shopping. Of course, he was….he loves going to the States. So off we went and did a little power shopping. We didn’t “need” anything, so it was just an afternoon/evening out and was quite inexpensive. That’s always nice!

Sunday, I slept in. Ahhhhhh….nice!!!! It was a lazy day around the house. I did some ViSalus work and made some calls. Then I did my daily check in on James Cordova. I can’t recall if I mentioned him here, but I’ve been mentioning him on Facebook and Twitter. He was ViSalus’ first Champion for the Body By Vi Challenge. He is a phenomenal human being and incredible father. He was diagnosed with cancer and two weeks ago was given 24-48 hours to live. He fought hard right up to the end. Sadly, I learned that he passed away this morning.

James is the third person I have learned had passed away in the last three days. The other two we very sudden…no warning signs at all. It goes to show that you never know when your time is up. I am not walking around in a state where I anticipate the end. I am not thinking doom and gloom. I am, however, happy that I am taking the steps to make my life healthier! Not to necessarily prolong my life….as I said, we never know when our time has come. Rather, the healthier I am, the more freely I can physically participate in events that are important to me!

I don’t want to leave this on a sad note, so I will now switch gears. I have had some dreams…some wishes…some bucket list items that I have thought of often. Lately, I have been reaching for these dreams and making them reality. It is surreal to me that opportunities that are presenting themselves since I have become a Promoter with ViSalus. It really makes me realize that NOTHING is out of reach if you put your mind and heart into it!

I will have some big news coming soon. I just don’t want to say something too soon. Well….big news for me anyway. Haha!

It's ALL about Nutrition!

Let’s get caught up on the last couple of days….before I forget what they entailed. Tuesday I had to be in to work early, so I didn’t go for my circuit training. However, after work I took the train to Kitchener (a 2 hour ride) to meet my husband as he had an appointment there in the late afternoon. We had sushi for dinner, hung out on my favourite Starbucks patio and then headed home.
Wednesday morning I was exhausted still from my late night Monday and Tuesday and I chose to hit snooze on my alarm too often and missed going to the gym. I partially decided this because I knew I was meeting a friend for a walk in the evening.

WOW! What a walk! We were gone for an hour and a half. On the way back, I had to stop for a minute and stretch. My lower back and legs were getting stiff. Not sore, but stiff. When I got home, I looked up the trail we took and found out we walked just over 6 kilometers!! WOW! From 0 km/day to 6km!

I’ll tell you this….it sure makes a huge difference when you are walking and busy chatting. Oh sure, I felt the hills and the humidity and stiffness in my legs, but it was easy to keep going and going and going….and going. My friend and I aren’t able to meet all that often due to schedule conflicts. I’m looking for people in the Toronto or Durham area that are looking to start walking and want a “buddy”.

Drinking my ViSalus Shakes has been quite easy to do these past few days. By “easy to do” I mean I have not had many cravings for other foods, nor have I felt too lazy to make a shake….HA! Especially when it takes a few seconds to make a shake, I’d have to be REALLY lazy. More like “stubborn” than “lazy”.

I have been feeling phenomenal the past month….energetic, focussed, balanced, my eczema has cleared…just overall healthier. It got me to thinking about some of the comments I’ve heard about ViSalus skeptics….including myself as I was one of the biggest skeptics.

First and foremost, I want to stress that ViSalus nor its Promoters claim that the Shakes cure ANYTHING. ViSalus does NOT cure diseases or ailments. So why then are we seeing so many transformations where people are coming off of their diabetes medications, heart medications, psoriasis or eczema clearing up (just to name a few)?? It’s proper or better nutrition…plain and simple. These folks are either losing weight, or getting nutrients they never had before, or both. With weight loss, a lot of other health risks are eliminated or reduced. It’s THAT simple!

When people look at ViSalus as a “meal replacement”, they sometimes think of it as “eliminating food and starving oneself.” So not true! Look at me for instance….you think “I” would ever let myself starve??? (OK…that was slightly a joke.) Let me give you a prime example….

I know a girl who eats an extremely “healthy” diet. I put healthy in quotes because while she makes healthy choices, she actually overeats. She will eat constantly throughout the day. Very healthy choices in most cases too. But if she were to ever actually look at the calories she is consuming, she would understand why she is the same weight…which is overweight. Watch the first video on my website to see all of the nutrients you get in just one Shake per day.

Even those who do have a very active and very healthy lifestyle have told me how they have achieved goals they were striving for once they added ViSalus to their diets. I am talking the athletes and folks who hit the gym seriously every day. Watch the second video on my website…it will go into detail about how our Protein is unique and stands out above the rest.

It’s all about Nutrition. That’s why I feel like I’m walking on a cloud. I am healthier. Period. So please don’t think of ViSalus as a magic pill, or claiming to be something it is not. There are way too many stories of people’s lives that are changing or have changed for this to be a crock. I’ve met people, seen them transform and even experienced so many health benefits myself. I just wanted to clarify that as I have heard some comments (and even had the same thoughts myself when I was skeptical) about how meal replacement = dangerous, or starving yourself to lose weight. Don’t forget, while MY story is a weight loss story, there are hundreds of thousands whom have fitness goals and weight GAIN goals that they are achieving.

Watch the videos….educate yourself….let me know if you want to taste the Shakes…and if you do decide to order them, there is a 30 Day money back guarantee! Promise you will give it a shot whole heartedly for 30 Days. I am betting you will see positive changes within the first 2 weeks and will be amazed.

Oh yeah…there is a new promotion I have as well as some new Testimonials too.
Have a great day everyone and we’ll chat soon!

The end to a great summer!

What a beautiful long weekend! The weather was perfect. I had a great time at the pool party with my family and their friends too. It's always difficult to make healthy choices when the food looks incredible! But I am proud to say that I did make some great choices. I remained vegetarian too...til today. I'm totally ok with that. I think it will take some time to become vegetarian. I start to feel kind of sick when I think about it. I know it is all psychological, however, as I start reminiscing back to when I was so sick before discovering my illness was due to cancer and NOT due to being vegetarian.

I came across some excellent recipes for vegetarian options this weekend. The vegetarian rice pilaf and the fried green tomatoes were exceptionally amazing!

Other than walking, I didn't do any exercising this weekend as my hip was iffy. It feels excellent now, so I will be back at it again on Wednesday. Maybe tomorrow, but I am still contemplating going to Kitchener in the evening. I have to be at work extremely early tomorrow to meet a deadline, so I know I can't hit the gym in the morning.

I've found new inspiration through some customers and readers and I also have my goals all written out and planned out. I'm going to knock this Challenge out of the park!

I kept to the shakes all weekend and enjoyed every one of them:
Vi-Shake mixed with chocolate and banana.
Vi-Shake mixed with cranberry and strawberry.
Vi-Shake mixed with fresh veggies.

We are thinking about a road trip to Texas in October. I can't wait until everyone I know there sees the change in my personality and my weight! I even had some family members comment on how I back to me!

I've really picked up focussing on ViSalus as well. This is just too good of a product to not share with others. Challenge Parties are so much fun and everyone has a great time at them. I get compliments on how I am not pushy and how people can relate to me. I love working with people and I am passionate about what I do!

I'm looking forward to what the future holds and I feel healthier and have more energy every day! It's amazing. I want to do cartwheels...well...maybe not yet!

Have a great evening everyone and I'll be back soon!
